Welcome to Capital USA Dance

This is the official website of the New York State Capital District chapter of USA Dance, the national amateur ballroom dancers association (formerly USABDA). We serve the entire Capital Region, including Albany, Troy, Schenectady, Saratoga, Latham, and Clifton Park, along with many others. Our mission is to promote ballroom dancing and its healthful benefits in three ways: ballroom as a social activity; ballroom as a form of exercise; and ballroom as a sport (aka Dancesport).

Here, you will find links and resources for ballroom, latin, tango, and swing dancing, a discussion forum, and a dance events calendar for all kinds of dancing in the Capital District.

Everyone is welcome here, USA Dance member or not. Please try out our forums, articles, links page, and Dance Calendar. Board membership costs nothing, and lets you post messages and subscribe for email updates on topics that interest you...

If the site looks diferent from your last visit, that's because it is. We've switched to a new software package that gives us both more flexibility AND stability. Unfortunately, this means that all previous members will have to re-register their usernames.
